We know that fear or anxiety can prevent some patients from getting needed dental care. Your dentist in El Dorado Hills, however, has taken measures to help anxious patients enjoy relaxing dental care in our office.

Often, dental anxiety stems from a bad experience at the dentist. Our team wants to replace this bad experience with a positive dental visit!

Helping You Feel at Ease

If you feel nervous or suffer from dental anxiety, let us know. Our compassionate team is here to make you feel comfortable and at ease.

Our dentist is always gentle, and the atmosphere in our dental office is meant to complement relaxation as well.

Sedation Dentistry in El Dorado Hills

For patients who need added reassurance, we offer a variety of sedation dentistry options in our dental office.

Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide is a relaxation gas that is safe for adults and children. It is delivered through a nasal mask, and it produces feelings of ease and detachment. When your dentist removes the mask following treatment, the gas wears off quickly. This means you can drive yourself home.

Oral Sedation

Our oral sedation requires that you take a pill a few hours before treatment. This medication means you can follow your dentist’s verbal requests, but you may not remember very much about your treatment or procedure. With this option, you will need a ride to and from your dental appointment, and you should avoid making important decisions or signing any contracts on this day.

IV Sedation

IV sedation is commonly called sleep dentistry. If you opt for this option, you sleep through your procedure. As with oral sedation, you will need a ride to and from your dental appointment. And you should not make life decisions or sign important documents on this day.
